How is Retro Game Fan different? We try our absolute best to please our customers by offering a wide range of classic and vintage gaming products at a fair price. We are upfront about our policies and want you to have a great buying experience so that you will come back and visit us again. We are not in this for a one time sale; we want to have you as a repeat customer, simple as that.

We do our best to describe the condition of the items for sale in our store so that you know what to expect when it gets to your doorstep. Everything you see in our store is in stock and ready to ship. We work hard to ensure accurate inventory records and 99.9% of the time if you order it, we have it. No back-orders here.

Retro Game Fan grades the products we sell according to the following condition scale:

NEW: Item is sealed (shrink wrapped) and has never been opened or played. This condition grade is only used to describe brand new items.
MINT: Item is "Collector Quality" and is more or less as good as new. It may have one or two very small scratches and/or imperfections but nothing major. This condition grade is only used to describe items of exceptional quality.
EXCELLENT: Item has a few light scratches and/or imperfections but overall it is in admirable condition. Still quite good for collectors.
GOOD: Item has many light scratches and/or imperfections but overall it is in acceptable condition. Most items fall within this category.
AVERAGE: Item is "Gamer Quality". It is very scratched and/or has a large number of imperfections and has seen a lot of use. Item is intended to be played, not collected.

While we may occasionally offer new items for sale, Retro Game Fan primarily specializes in selling used classic and vintage video games and systems. With that being said, please have realistic expectations regarding any used merchandise. Although condition grading of used items is quite subjective, we try our best to give an honest and accurate depiction of our items.

Please be aware that we generally use stock photos to provide a representation of the items being offered for sale. For more expensive or rare items, sometimes we may use actual photos. If the photo is of the actual item it will specifically state so in the description. Before purchasing an item, please read the text in the item description since it explains what is included for sale and its condition rating.

Retro Game Fan accepts the following forms of payment:

We ship packages via USPS with delivery confirmation utilizing a variety of packing materials and padding. If you order a rare or expensive item, we usually ship it in a box. For less expensive items we use high quality padded envelopes or bubble mailers. Any order of 5 games or more will almost always ship out in a box. Game systems always ship in a box with plenty of padding to ensure safe delivery.

You will receive an email notification when your order ships out. Items typically ship within one to two business days depending on customer volume. Shipping insurance is included at no additional cost.

Shipping and handling costs are calculated by weight. You can view an estimate of the shipping and handling cost for your order in the shopping cart prior to finalizing your purchase. Final shipping costs will appear on the invoice you will see prior to confirming your order.

Depending on the games or items you purchase you may be able to add more items to your cart without increasing the total shipping cost. Total weight will include the shipping and packing materials, etc. (i.e. boxes & padding).

We ship only to US addresses at this time. We hope to expand to international shipping in the future.

Buy your classic and vintage video games from Retro Game fan with confidence. We offer a 30 day warranty on all new and used products (unless specified otherwise in their individual listing). We are very open and honest about our policies and will do our very best to work out any problems to your satisfaction.
All items are thoroughly tested prior to being listed in our store. However, in the unlikely event that you receive a defective item, you must notify us of the problem by sending an email to: sales@retrogamefan.com within 30 days of the purchase date. You must contact us before returning any product to us and we will attempt to resolve the issue via email first. If it is necessary to return the item, we will then email you an RMA number with instructions on how to ship the item back to us. Buyer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. We must receive the item in the exact condition that it was delivered to you. The item, serial numbers, condition etc. must match our records. The item must be proven as defective since items that are not defective are not covered under our warranty. If we deem that the item has been tampered with or a different item is returned in its place it is not covered under the warranty. Retro Game Fan will ship a replacement item, upon receipt and proof of the defective product, at our expense. If a replacement item is not in stock, a refund of the purchase price will then be given. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Factory sealed and/or new items that have been opened may only be exchanged for the same item if defective. All returns and exchanges are at the discretion of management and are tracked to identify any buyers abusing the return policy.

Customers must be 18 years of age or older to purchase goods from Retro Game Fan.
